We got percy, our pet kitten in july and having booked a short holiday we asked Lynsey and her team to visit Percy twice a day for his breakfast and dinner. I was a little worried about leaving Percy at first because he is a very affectionate and sociable cat, and loves his cuddles (which is sometimes unheard of in cats!). I needn’t have worried as Lynsey fed him at the usual times so not to break his routine and played with Percy and gave him some cuddles. I know this because one of his toys had snapped as it was being played with. Lynsey even text us to let us know she had just fed him and to tell us he was happy. I cannot recommend PPS enough to anyone who needs this service, as relying on friends or family to feed a cat is sometimes not reliable. Thanks PPS!

I contacted Personal Pet Services when I moved to the area and unexpectedly got a job which meant that I would have to leave my Flint during the day. At such short notice Lynsey said she would be more than happy taking him on. Our dog Flint is a lively character who craves being the centre of attention. He therefore can be quite cheeky in trying to get his own way. Lynsey and Steve very quickly recognised this and became accustomed to his needs, supporting me in keeping Flints behaviour in check. They are very supportive of training needs and immediately notify you of any concerns about your pets health or behaviour. Lynsey even took my dog to the vet instantaneously when he took unwell as she cares so much about the pets she looks after. It just so nice to go to work knowing that my dog is in such good hands.  Flint drags me across the road to their house every morning and has even pawed at the door if he isn't let in quick enough. I love looking at the gallery pictures seeing the fun he gets up to during the day. I would recommend Personal Pet Services to anyone. They really do personalise and tailor for you and your pets needs.

Personal Pet Services have looked after my Staffie Millie for the past year. As Millie is quite a nervous dog having been ill treated as a puppy I was quite anxious to have to arrange dog walking once my daughter went off to university but Lynsey & her team are absolutely wonderful and Millie looks forward to her daily walks. Having someone enter your home each day is initially daunting but I have to say the whole team are totally professional and It is also nice to come across a business with exceptional customer service with no request too much trouble. I would certainly recommend PPS as the first choice to anyone thinking of arranging care for their pets.

I contacted Personal Pet Services when I decided I wanted my dogs cared for in our home when we went on holiday. Both my dogs are rescues and Jake can be nervous with new people and a bit anxious when we leave him. I was amazed by how quickly he took to Lynsey and Nikki, he wasn’t shy at all, in fact he was asking for cuddles and fuss within minutes of meeting them. PPS have impressed me with both their calm and friendly approach and the little extras like daily texts while we where away. This meant we could early relax and know our dogs where in safe hands. PPS are now our regular dog walkers when I have to work away from home and provide an excellent service all round.

From day one Lynsey put us at ease and assured us of her dedication and professionalism. We got Biscuit from a rescue home and she had little if no social skills or experience with other dogs. Since going to Doggy Day Care with Personal Pet Services her behaviour with us and with other dogs both on visits with friends and whilst out on walks has improved greatly. She can be nervous with strangers and suffers from separation anxiety, so it was lovely to see how Lynsey and Nikki were patient and thoughtful with her. I decided to hire a dog walker as I had just rescued a lovely little staffy and felt she could do with an extra walk during the day while I was out at work as sometimes I work shifts. I found Personal Pet Services after doing a Google search and was very impressed by the website so decided to give them a call. I wasn't disappointed, Personal Pet Services were very friendly and helpful. I wanted the dog walking to start the next day and Lynsey managed to come over that evening to meet myself and Maddie. Maddie can be a little full on sometimes but Lynsey dealt with her 'friendliness' very well and Maddie was soon rolling over for belly rubs and ear tickles. The initial consultation was free and very detailed, I felt that Lynsey really took the time to make sure she had a good understanding of Maddie and what I was looking for. After each walk I received a text from PPS informing me of how the walk went and whether Maddie behaved. Lynsey even checked water levels and filled up the water bowl if it was getting low. As a dog walking service I cannot find fault with PPS however it didn't stop there, Lynsey even offered help and advice when any problems or issues occurred. I would have no hesitation in recommending PPS to anyone else and I rate them extremely highly. If you want a trustworthy and reliable service then look no further then Personal Pet Services.

When looking for a dog walker, what does one expect; someone to walk your dog, feed her and that’s it.

What a pleasant surprise when we found a company who went that bit extra. Not only was our puppy (Asha) assessed by Personal Pet Services (PPS) and a home visit, but the fundamentals of raising a puppy from an expert and passed on to us the owners.

Lynsey has a proactive and not a reactive approach to the care of our puppy. Lynsey and her staff are very supportive in the needs and training of Asha. Always on speed dial in a middle of a crisis whether it be her diet, or her behaviour or just need of advise.

We are in the process of moving and one of many concerns that came to mind was who we would use to continue looking after and training of Asha... Luckily Lynsey will support us and continue to train and care for Asha when we move.

As both of us are professional people, who work long hours, it is great to know that there is a company out there who loves and cares for our Asha as does Lynsey and her staff.

We are extremely fortunate to have found Personal Pet Services and would recommend to anyone in our situation.

We have been a regular user of Personal Pet Services for approximately one year and could not rate it highly enough.  We started using Personal Pet Services when Zulu our Staffy was about 6 months old. We use Personal Pet Services for their dog walking service because we both work shifts and sometimes our schedules clash. We ring sometimes at very short notice even for weekend cover and we are never disappointed. It takes a huge leap of faith, not only to allow someone into your house, but to also look after your dog. For those who are in need of a service like this and are apprehensive, we say make the leap, you will not be disappointed.

Being new to the area and not having any family down south to help look after my cat, Buddy, I knew I would have to look for a cat sitter. I found Personal Pet Services via an internet search and Lynsey and her team have been fantastic. Buddy is a special cat and cannot be put in a cattery, so it was important to find someone who would look after him well. Buddy was a mistreated cat and I rescued him approximately 5 years ago. He has 6 air gun pellets lodges in his spine and now only has 3 legs due to a cancerous tumour. These experiences have left him feeling very wary of people, however, Lynsey is great with him and he seems happy with Lynsey looking after him when my partner and I are away on business.

Personal Pet Services go above and beyond with their services, which became more apparent over Christmas. I was on business and realised that I had ordered my Christmas food delivery for the wrong day. As I was unable to re-schedule the delivery, I called Lynsey and she changed her schedule to sit in and wait for my food shopping!

I also know that our house is safe when we are away as Lynsey and her team collect our mail, opens and closes the curtains and the place is always spotless!

Personal Pet Services provide a fantastic service and Lynsey is a true animal lover and I would be happy to recommend her.

We both work full time and our usual dog sitters are the parents! But when they went on holiday and took my other half with them I was left struggling to make sure Marley was looked after during the day and not left on his own for too long. Personal Pet Services stepped in at short notice, accommodating the days and times I needed which gave me peace of mind knowing he would see a friendly face and get a walk during the day. Having just set up my own business in the past year, their support with walking my Shar Pei, Rusty has been invaluable, at a time where finding a spare hour in the day is sometimes impossible! Rusty, as Personal Pet Services well know, can sometimes not be the easiest dog to walk on lead, especially with other dogs as he has been attacked in the past; However Lynsey and her team always manage to find time (sometimes at short notice) to give him a good park or beach walk and try where possible to socialise him with other dogs. It’s great to come home to a happy dog!

I had to write a few words to express how very grateful I am to Lynsey and Personal Pet Services for looking after our cat Ollie whilst we were away in the USA for two weeks. I didn't even know until your flier arrived through the door that an "at home" service would be available.  After meeting Lynsey I felt safe with Ollie being in her charge and cannot thank Personal Pet Services enough for looking after him so well. He didn't even ignore us when we came home!!  Was also grateful for the fact that Lynsey also pulled the curtains each day and put out the bins - this saved me having to get another person to come in an do this job as well. It was also a great bonus getting text updates as to how Ollie was doing during that two week. Our rescue dogs are very nervous due to their chequered pasts so we want to cause them as little upset as possible when we need to go out for a long day without them.

I had booked my  holiday before I got my puppies, Milly and Molly, only being 3months old I couldn't really take them with me as they were not yet house trained; what could I do? I couldn't postpone my holiday as I was going to meet my new grandson, so I went on the internet and it came up with a few possibilities. Then I came across Personal Pet Services; This sounded great as it meant that the pups would be able to stay in their own home and my house would be looked after to. I phoned them and had a lovely chat with Lynsey, she made me feel like I had known her for ages.
